The objectives of the module: ·
Use the intercultural as a positive, rewarding, productive professional resource that facilitates communication and reintegration work.
Combine audience understanding with a stronger and richer sense of relationships with intercultural audiences.
Educational objectives of the training:
List the intercultural situations experienced by the group and place them in the typology proposed by the speaker.
Know how to deal with differences in values and behaviors in intercultural mediation processes.
Know how to identify the meaning of these values and behaviors in order to include them in mediation processes in accordance with the laws and the expected reintegration procedures.
Know how to recognize these identity conflicts, know how to adopt the right attitude when dealing with them.
Session content:
· Understand the theoretical and practical approach to Intercultural Competence (1 day)
Definition of Intercultural, multidisciplinary approach to Intercultural, what is intercultural competence?
· Acquiring intercultural competence as a process of mediating values and behaviors (1 day)
Sociological and anthropological approach to religion, definition of the concept of value and behavior, theoretical and practical approach to intercultural mediation.
· Orienting intercultural competence towards the management of identity conflicts (1 day)
Definition of identity conflicts and description and understanding of their geopolitical, psychosocial, cultural and religious origins. Presentation of different approaches to religious proselytism (sociology, law, psychoanalysis...) in order to understand its multiple facets.
